Shipping Notice: Our products are typically found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store, however our products are shipped at room temp. Please do not be alarmed, fermenting vegetables is how our ancestors preserved these foods for thousands of years before refrigeration. All of our vegetable ferments are very acidic (and probiotic) due to the fermentation process which prevents any danger of pathogens. There has never been a reported case of food borne illness from fermented vegetables! The reason for refrigerating the products is simply because they will eventually bubble to life at room temp and grocery stores can not have jars of bubbling and leaking product on their shelves. We recommend refrigerating your products after receiving them.
